Thanks to the intimate size of Azul Beach Hotel, all accommodations are mere steps from the white sands of Bahia Petempich, as well as one of our three pools and the kid’s pool. Restaurants & Bars:
Blue International Restaurant
In this casual restaurant, you will find cuisine from around the world on the menus. Traditional Mexican dishes highlight breakfast, while family-style offerings and gourmet sandwiches highlight lunch. At dinner, there is an international menu plus five separate menus – the all-lobster menu (yes, it’s all included), South Beach Diet, vegetarian, low carb/low fat and chef’s choice menus.
Blue Terrace
Here the chefs grill steaks, fish, seafood and choice meat cuts in front of you on the thatched-roof terrace. Food is served still sizzling at your open-air table. Chil Restaurant Oceanfront views highlight this restaurant offering a taste of the tropics. Fresh seafood, local produce and regional recipes are menu stand-outs. Mexican flavors and Caribbean flair make this dining option memorable.
Tainan Restaurant
Named for the ancient capital of Taiwan, the décor and menu here are Asian inspired. Sit at the fun Tatami tables with huge pads and bolsters, and a pit under the table for your legs. Enjoy sushi, sashimi, wok specialties and other traditional dishes prepared with authentic ingredients.
La Mancha Energy Bar
Order an exotic fruit juice, smoothie, iced tea, cappuccino or espresso at this cheerful corner bar. If you want a snack to hold you over, there are Caribbean sandwiches, jumbo cookies and ice cream. The huge fudge brownies disappear fast! Pick up Gourmet Gerber baby food here too.
Agavero Tequila Lounge
Take your pick from more than 30 specialty tequilas in this Pancho Villa-era lounge. The vintage Mexican bar has a frozen top to keep your tequila at the perfect temperature. The Añejo, Reposado and Blanco style tequilas are served straight, mixed and frozen. Try a traditional margarita or a tequila martini. Open til 1 a.m.
Aquanox Bar
This bar is renowned for its hanging double lounge beds lining the outer edge overlooking the Caribbean and pool. Grab one with your partner and we’ll serve you cocktails while you swing with the tropical breeze. It’s a great place to watch the nightly entertainment. During the day, sit on sunken bar stools on the pool side of the bar under the shade of the soaring thatched roof.
Chil Bar
What could be more relaxing than sitting under the thatched roof of this bar next to the pool and enjoying your favorite international liquor? Order something tall, colorful and frozen.
Activities:
A Multitude of Activities Meet Everyone’s Desires Be prepared to be relaxed, challenged, educated and entertained. Whether you decide to learn Spanish, challenge opponents in the ping pong tournaments, taste wine, go kayaking or simply swing in our crocheted hammocks by the sea, you’ll find loads of activities at Azul Beach Hotel. Families can try the water sports, play beach volleyball or take a cooking class together. Adults can take massage, dancing or cocktail lessons.
Kids love the Azulitos Kid’s Club, popcorn wars, treasure hunt, boogie boards, kid’s pool and beach flag football. Each night there is an entertainment show for the whole family. A special service delivers your selected movies, popcorn and beverages to your room. Our full-service concierge can set up golf tee times, off-site jungle adventures and cultural excursions. There are fees for certain activities.
